Krrish 3 box office collection: Hrithik Roshan’s film mints Rs 255 crore, beats 3 Idiots and Ek Tha Tiger.
Looks like nothing can stop Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 3 at the box office. After becoming the fastest film to enter 200 crore club, the sci-fi thriller is now inching closer to break SRK’s Chennai Express record
Krrish 3 starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi is slowly breaking all the box office records. Rakesh Roshan’s mega budget film has raked in Rs 255 crore worldwide just in 12 days and is still going steady at the ticket windows. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter, “Krrish 3′ collects Rs 5.04 cr on Tue. India biz: Rs 216.77 cr.” After 3 Idiots andChennai Express, Hirthik’s film was the third one to enter the Rs 200 crore club. While the Shahrukh Khan starrer took two weeks to reach double century, Krrish 3managed to do that in seven days after its release. With hardly any competition, wethinks papa Roshan’s s film will soon become the highest grossing Hindi film ever, leaving Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express behind.
While Hrithik’s superhero flick has been declared a blockbuster, on the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya 2 which released last week had a dry spell. According to Boxofficeindia, “Satya 2 was a washout on day with awful collections all over.”
As for Krrish3 , the movie may continue to rule at the box office this week but it may have a tough time in the coming week, as two big films are set to hit the screens – Ram-Leela and Rajjo.
